Regent's Park
Basement extension, Regent's Park

The project in brief.
Three single vaults under a Grade I listed house near Regent's Park were enlarged, tanked and joined to create a habitable basement floor. Because the house is listed, the scheme went through planning and listed building consent before any work started.
Space Cucina managed the whole project: planning permission, architect, structural engineer, the build itself and the supply of materials. A basement gains space without losing any garden, and it sits far closer to the living areas than a loft.
